Five continents represented through the schools participate in this network which purpose is to develop cooperation between schools of information and library science. It was created in the launching meeting organized by UNESCO in Pittsburgh, in December 1995.	Ce réseau, qui associe des écoles des cinq continents, est destiné à favoriser la coopération entre des écoles en sciences de l'information et bibliothéconomie. Il été créé à Pittsburgh en décembre 1995 lors d'une réunion organisée par l'UNESCO.
